If you have read my blog in the past you may have read about my older girls riding horses at Butterfly Dreams Farms, in Watkinsville. Both my girls look forward to riding all week and I enjoy visiting the farm because it is always so peaceful. There is something magical about Butterfly Dreams Farm. Amazing things happen there. And thankfully since we have been visiting the farm now for over a year, I have seen the magic first hand.
Butterfly Dreams Farms will be hosting the Butterfly Dreams Dash 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, September 5 which will start at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville, GA. Registration starts at 7:00 and the race starts at 8:00. Registration fees before August 28 is only $15 and will be $20 on race day. A family can register before August 28 for only $45. There will be awards for fastest times so if you are competitive, you will want one of these handcrafted wooden butterflies. If you are not, it is ok. You can walk with me! Just make sure you are a part of these event in some way. You too can be a part of the magic that happens at Butterfly Dreams Farm as well.
