Newborn Sweetness! (Athens Newborn Photographer)

I have done lots of newborns lately and I have been enjoying the sweet cuddles. There is nothing better than a sweet little new baby.

I first met this family at the Athens Maternity and Baby Fair and was so excited to receive a call for newborn photos. What a beautiful family and what a wonderful addition this little fellow was to this family. He is especially loved by big sister who enjoyed photographing her baby brother beside me using her (Elmo) camera. This little fellow was very fond of my bean bag because he fell into a deep sleep and we were able to change him several times without waking him. What a trooper!

Beautiful baby boy! (Athens Newborn Photographer)

I have been so busy editing, I have not blogged as I should.

I was so happy when this family called me back to do newborn photos. I did maternity photos for them right before mom's due date (Remeber "Lunch box"?). Well, it was fun to finally find out this little fellow's birth name, which fits him so well. He was just a doll and you can tell he is loved so much. His big sister wanted to make sure I knew that I was only taking pictures of her brother but would not be allowed to pack him up in my things to take him home. So sweet!

And while I waited for little Z. to bet ready for his photos, I got a few of the beautiful big sister.

Here are a few details.

Here are two examples of the print with a digital mat. I have ordered samples and will update the blog with a photo of the actual product as soon as they come in. They should be beautiful on the metallic paper. You will be able to choose your digital mat color and texture. I do not offer this product in my price list and it is exclusive to the Down Syndrome session. The 8x8 photo will come with an easel and will be ready for display immediately.

Yeah! They are back!! (Athens Children Photographer)

One of my most favorite families came back for a visit to the area and I was able to meet them at the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens for a few photos. It is always great to see how much little children grow and change so rapidly. Little M. is talking so well and is turning into such a little girl. I always enjoy seeing things through the eyes of a child. They are so amazed by little things that I take for granted.

It was wonderful to see you R. and S. I look forward to seeing you again when you visit in the future.

I'll race ya!

Photobucket

If you have read my blog in the past you may have read about my older girls riding horses at Butterfly Dreams Farms, in Watkinsville. Both my girls look forward to riding all week and I enjoy visiting the farm because it is always so peaceful. There is something magical about Butterfly Dreams Farm. Amazing things happen there. And thankfully since we have been visiting the farm now for over a year, I have seen the magic first hand.

Butterfly Dreams Farms will be hosting the Butterfly Dreams Dash 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, September 5 which will start at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville, GA. Registration starts at 7:00 and the race starts at 8:00. Registration fees before August 28 is only $15 and will be $20 on race day. A family can register before August 28 for only $45. There will be awards for fastest times so if you are competitive, you will want one of these handcrafted wooden butterflies. If you are not, it is ok. You can walk with me! Just make sure you are a part of these event in some way. You too can be a part of the magic that happens at Butterfly Dreams Farm as well.

For more information about the race and instructions on how to register, visit here http://www.runningintheusa.com/CRS/docs/09BUTTERFLYDREAMS5K.pdf

If you want more information about Butterfly Dreams Farm, then visit here. http://butterflydreamsfarm.org/home

Don't forget to stay after the race and see my little man Chase his friends participate in the Lap of Love for Special Needs children starting at 9:30. Registration for that is only $10

Let me know if you are coming so I can say hello!

Newborn sweetness! (Athens, GA newborn photographer)

I had the pleasure to photograph this beautiful family a couple of weeks back who had just welcomed their new baby boy to the world. I was so impressed how easy going and collected they were. I think was always frazzled the first few weeks after having a baby. Their sweet gentle nature was certainly passed on to their new little fellow who was most cooperative with us. D and C, thanks so much for allowing me to capture D.'s first photographs. Iam so glad that I meet you guys. (I hope your first days back at school are great ones!)

My has she grown! (Athens Georgia Children's Photographer)

I was so excited when dear friends scheduled a time to photograph their beautiful daughter. I took E.'s newborn photos and always love seeing her grow. It was great to spend time with them and get an opportunity to see just how smart and funny E. is becoming. We had a great time at the Botanical Gardens here in Athens. These pictures are extra special because the dress that E. is wearing was a gift from her Grandmother. Here are a few of my favorites
