Just a few more.

This is what she thinks of my camera.

Emerson is doing great and just slid right into the family. My girls love her and even Chase has given her a little love. All the kids have been wonderful this week and it has really helped in the recovery.

Little Emerson has been a difficult little woman for me to photograph. Not to mention, I am trying not to bend and sit on the ground a lot while recoving from the c-section. But, I have gotten a few keepers and thought I would share them with you.

SHE is here!

Emerson Frances Riggott was born on October 24 at 1:32 pm weighing 7 lbs 2 oz (the smallest of all four of my children). She was 19 3/4 inches long.

My delivery went well and the recovery is going well so far. Emerson is a little doll and seems to be enjoying her new life on the outside as well. Peyton and Grayson are so proud and it is so sweet to watch them interact and enjoy their new sister. Chase is too busy to stop and look at Emerson. I am sure he will enjoy her when she gets home.

I think I am in love!

Is it even legal to be so cute? This is the happiest little woman EVER! She barely disagreed and was just such a happy little girl. You can not help but smile when you see her and her two new little bottom teeth.

Little A. was a returning client who I photographed as a newborn. She had a head full of hair then and still has a lot of hair at almost a year old. Some of my most favorite newborn photos came from her newborn session and same goes with her current session.

It was so fun to see her parents with her and it was so evident that they are so amazed by A. Who would not love a sweet face like this?

This is what we know so far:
The baby is a planned c-section on October 24 at 1:00. But who knows if I will get in early or have to wait on emergency c-sections as I have in the past.
We do not know the gender.
I have had big babies in the past (between 7 lbs 10 oz and 8 lbs 4 oz.)

So, please vote. It will be fun to see who comes closest.

Perfect baby! Perfect parents!

I was so excited to hear that little C. arrived and to have her parents set up a session so quickly after birth. C. is this couple's first child and by the way they were handling her and the amount of patience they had with her, you would never know it! She is just the sweetest little thing and very easy going considered I turned and tossed her for a few hours.

Because I was able to photograph C. within the first two weeks after birth, and her parent's patience and willingness to just give her another little feed after she woke a little upset, and their desire to get the right portrait and willing to wait C. out for it, I think we got some really sweet shots. (and I hope B. and B. think so too!).

I could post the whole session but I will just limit it to a few of my favorites.
