Flup-ul-en-doopie!

Was a word that this little fellow made up on his very own. (I think I got it right). I have no idea what it means but it sure made him laugh! I will have to keep it in mind for future sessions because it is funny and fun to say.

I met this little fellow and his mother at the Botanical Gardens here in Athens for a SURPRISE Father's Day session. (So if you know J.'s dad...SHHHH!). He was so much fun and so S-M-A-R-T. I knew I was in trouble when the normal two year old tricks were not working. I had to step it up a notch and use my big kid tricks. He was so patient and listened so well. I could have spent all night taking his pictures.

Happy Birthday Grayson!

My youngest daughter turned FOUR yesterday! Something about the leap from three to four just made me a little misty. She is truly a little girl now and I am just not ready for that. I would much prefer that she stay little. But, she does not agree so we let her turn four. She had a Chuck- E- Cheese/ High School Musical party with her friends from school and our neighborhood friends. Grayson has been talking about her "Chuck- E- Cheese magical birthday surprise with a High School Musical cake" for over a month now. I hope that all her birthday dreams came true and her birthday wishes come to life.

Happy Birthday little girl! We are so proud of you.

Fantabulous Family

Fantabulous= fantastic and fabulous. ( so I like to make new words up!)

I met this family at the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens two Saturdays ago. We had so much fun. This family is so photogenic and I took way too many photos. Can people this beautiful even take a bad picture? They interacted so easily and were such naturals. I enjoyed spending the afternoon with this family and watching them play.

Hard session to post...

It was hard to post the sneak peek to this session... because I had too many favorites!!! Every time I decided on my favorite, it changed and I had a new favorite. I had a hard time choosing! I could have easily posted the whole session in a sneak peek. These kids were a riot! They kept me entertained the whole time I was at the session. I had so much fun playing with them that I almost forgot to take the photos. They were both very bright and so imaginative. We really had a good time at the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens.

And I just had to post this outtake. It was too funny not to share it. If this were my kids, I would so have to print it. It shows just how fun these two were!

Trina and the scary monster...

These beautiful children were a part of my sessions to benefit F.A.C.E.S. We were supposed to meet at the Vines Botanical Gardens but it poured rain during our session time and this family was nice enough to meet me at the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens the next (sunny) day.

I would like to say that I was a delightful, funny clown who made everyone laugh but I unfortunately was not. Minutes into the session, I made this sweet little girl cry! Poor her, poor me. She was scared of my camera (couldn't have been me!). But, in spite of it all, I think I got some really sweet shots of her and some fun adorable shots of her big brother. I had a great time with this family. It was one of those sessions when I leave feeling like I left feeling lucky I had met them. They worked so well together as a unit.

Fun family!

Last weekend I had the pleasure to photograph a delightful family as a mini session for my Autism Awareness sessions. I met this family at the Vines Botanical Garden in Loganville. If you have not been there, you must visit. It is lovely.

I just had to share this fun loving family. We had a great time, even though we had to dodge the rain a few times. It was so easy working with them. They just naturally enjoyed being together and it showed in their photos.

She jumped so high, high, high she touched the sky, sky, sky...

Peyton was sick last weekend, can you tell? And ever since she was younger after a spring or summer rain she begs to go outside and play in the sprinkling rain and puddles. Because she seemed better at the moment we went outside to play. I was totally blown away how high she could jump. Forget being a lawyer or professional conversationalist (is there such a thing) we need to give that girl a pole to learn to vault or a basketball! She had a great time but then crashed again afterward. Then she nicely gave her germs to her sister who has been flat on her back for about eight days now.

Excuse her clothes. This is Peyton's sense of fashion- mom's t-shirt and rain boots. Just the other day she wore my t-shirt, a pink flowered skirt, and rain boots to our neighbor's house to play. She is developing into her own little person and it is quite interesting. LOL
