Smokin' hot family!

Or that is what felt like the day that I met this family at the Botanical Gardens here in Athens. It was very, very warm that day but not one of these family member complained. They were so easy to work with and so happy to do anything I suggested. Although hot, we had a great time. L., the youngest of the girls, was just irresistible with that big toothless grin, and S. the oldest, was so sweet and intelligent. I loved hearing her stories.

Thanks again for letting me spend some time with you guys. I hope to do it again soon!

How cute are they?

A couple of weeks ago, I was able to photograph this beautiful couple who are expecting their first baby. They are so sweet together. Being with them takes me back to the excitement and anticipation I felt waiting for Peyton to arrive. First babies are the hardest to wait for. The pregnancy seems to last forever. I was so glad to be a part of their excitement. You can tell this little baby girl will be loved by the whole family. And since this is the first baby girl in several generations on the father's side, she will be S-P-O-I-L-E-D (but isn't that you are supposed to do with babies?)

B and B have already gotten their gallery but I had to share a few photos of their gallery.

I look forward to meeting your new baby girl in a couple of months!

Happy Birthday Peyton

A woman of unique style...

Who is a cowgirl in training...
Who naturally had to have horses on her cake...

My oldest daughter turned six last week. SIX YEARS OLD! I never thought she would actually grow up. I wanted her to stay small. She was not crazy about the idea of staying five so six it is.

Peyton is and has always been very animated and full of life. She could play with a bread tie and make it something fun to play with. She is an awsome big sister and is growing up just as I hoped she would, compassionate and willing to help when she is needed. I could not be more proud.

To celebrate her birthday... a little late... the first person who emails me gets a free session. Trinariggott@charter.net

They are leaving! Boo hoo!

I was lucky enough to meet this family at the Athens Maternity and Baby Fair last year. They bid for the silent auction prize and won. Little did I know that I would be privileged to photograph this family again four times this year. Now they are leaving!

Best of luck to the D family in your move. You will be missed. Please keep in contact with me and I would love to see you guys when you return for visits in Athens.

Before the chaos of the move began, I was glad to meet them at Watson's Mill State Park in Comer, GA. It is so pretty out there even though there is not much water covering the rocks. As always I had a great time with this sweet family. Although the "D's" already have their gallery, I still wanted to share a little from their session and say a formal goodbye (through tears).

The contest is underway

UPDATE:
I understand that some may be having trouble voting for your favorite. Because the poll only allows one vote per IP address a day, it may not allow computers attached to that address to vote in the same day. If you have a problem voting, email me your vote (1,2,3,4,or 5) and I will keep a separate tally of the votes and update with the hand counted votes every other day or so.

Sorry for the confusion.

These five contestants were "lucky" enough to capture these images while trying to take photos of their child(ren). (giggle) Looking at these photographs, I did feel a bit better that I have been unable to get a keeper from my kids. Thanks to all who submitted photos. What great sports you are! I can not wait to see who wins. I will be so happy to photograph any of you and your children!!

Now, you have to vote, vote, vote!!! Let everyone know that you are participating in the contest and have them visit the blog to place their vote for the lucky winner. Voting begins right now and will run a little over a week until July 15 at midnight. Vote multiple times but just limit your vote to once a day.
